My Nieces

It's been an interesting transition moving across the country from one state to another, but I have to say that the biggest adjustment I have had to make is being away from my niece and nephew (Elias and Daniella) and my brother Elias (Sr.) and my sister-in-law Julie who I am very close to. (We were even roommates before she married my bro!)

This has revealed another blessing though. Since moving to Denver, I have had the opportunity to be with my other brother Angel and his family (Christina: my sis-in-law, Angel & Daniel: my nephews and Yesenia: my niece). They moved to Denver from California and I have had a chance to bond with them since it was hard to see them while we were in Chicago.

As you can imagine, it's difficult to get everyone together regularly so we pretty much try to do something once a year. It is just amazing to see that the kids bond so strongly with one another even though they rarely see each other. It's like they know the meaning of family and they respect it, even at younger ages.

So my nieces are both 3 years old (just a month apart in age) and they just love each other to death. They are so different in many ways, but somehow always seem to connect with each other. They had a fabulous time over Easter and they can't stop yapping about each other!

Hi Everyone!

So, this is my very first blog ever! I am quite familiar with blogs as I visit them frequently, but now I have the time and the opportunity to really get my hands dirty...

My name is Delilah and I am married with no kids (yet). I have a wonderful husband (Marc) who loves me enough to not bother me while I'm crafting, creating, etc, LOL. Even though it's just us two (ha ha), I currently have family living with me here in Denver as they have also just moved out here. So I have a full house of 8 people until my brother and his family move into their new place! Luckily we ended up buying the house with 4 bedrooms! LOL

Likes:

Digiscrap art is my addiction! I have also been dabbling in digital art (without the scrapping) recently. Love it! Ummm, of course traditional scrapping and paper projects.

Dislikes:

Dishes! Cleaning up after 8 people, which really sucks after dinner-time. Not getting out of the house enough (besides going to work). There are plenty of things I could list in this category, but I am sure you will come to know them after some time...

I hope to start creating digital products and the purpose of this blog is to share ideas (aka: picking your brains); show you my progress as time passes, share the roadblocks, questions and concerns; but most of all, just to share inspirations with you and hope to get the same in return.

I will be sharing my inspirations and art with you regularly. Please let me know if you would like me to share tips and techniques with you on anything you see!

Hope you enjoy!
